Jen Mishory
Young Invincibles

Jen is a founding staff member of Young Invincibles. She directs the policy, research, communications and outreach staff. Jen has authored numerous reports and issue briefs focusing on health, higher education and economic issues facing the Millennial generation. She currently serves as a consumer representative for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, where she works with Insurance Commissioners around the country to ensure strong consumer protections for young people in the health care industry. She has testified before Congress on the issue of private student loans, and serves as a member of the inaugural Consumer Advisory Board of the CFPB. She also served as the consumer advocacy negotiator for the Department of Education’s 2012 negotiated rulemaking around student loans. Jen has appeared in the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, CNN, NPR, and PBS, among other media outlets. Jen graduated with honors from UCLA in 2007 and received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2010. She is admitted to the California bar.
