Anastasia is a Law Fellow at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law. Anastasia holds a law degree from University of Athens in Greece and a Master of Laws in Global Health Law with a Certificate in Food and Drug Law from Georgetown University Law Center (Class of 2020).
Prior to joining the Institute, Anastasia interned at the World Health Organization where she conducted research and analysis of tobacco control legislation. In 2017, she co-founded an Athens-based non-profit that partners with Greek public hospitals to offer free psycho-social support services to cancer patients. In this role, she was responsible for researching the national legal framework governing public-private partnerships and preparing funding proposals. During her LL.M. she was a Research Assistant at the O’Neill Institute and externed at the Global Health Advocacy Incubator where she focused on nutrition law and policy.
