Guillermina Pappier

Guillermina Pappier is a winter intern at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law. She is a current student at Torcuato Di Tella University in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Prior to joining the O’Neill Institute, she worked in different research projects for her school to include the Argentine Supreme Court Project analyzing the High Court rulings. In addition, she was selected to be part of a team of students of Di Tella and Los Andes University in Colombia to with drafting an application before the Inter- American Court of Human Rights regarding the rights of prisoners in Colombia. Her main focus includes Economic, social, and cultural rights. For that matter, she started volunteering at the age of sixteen in different NGO’s focusing on the right to housing in underprivileged neighborhoods across Latin America. In addition, she took different courses of human rights such as Constitutionalism in the Global South and various programs regarding women’s rights. She is actively involved and often joins different protest concerning reproductive rights in Argentina.
