Kate Cherry worked as a Research Assistant with the O’Neill Institute in Georgetown’s Department of Human Science from 2007-2009. In this capacity, Ms. Cherry’s research focused on the status and ethical implications of personalized medicine for the future of health care.
Ms. Cherry earned a B.A. in Public Policy Studies from Duke University, and has worked at non-profit organizations focused on economic development for low-income populations and international sport development. Ms. Cherry previously worked as a health educator in Malawi and Honduras. She is currently a student at Columbia University’s School of Nursing.
