Lidiya Enkubahiry Teklemariam, LL.B. (J.D. equivalent), LL.M., is a Law Fellow at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law. Lidiya holds an LL.B (J.D. equivalent) degree from Hawassa University in Ethiopia and an LL.M. in Global Health Law with a Certificate in Food and Drug Law from Georgetown University Law Center.
Prior to joining the O’Neill Institute, Lidiya worked for the Ethiopian Food and Drug Administration where she worked on the making and implementation of laws governing food and medical products, and the practice of medicine. As an undergrad student, Lidiya was a Volunteer Paralegal for a Human Rights Project that provided free legal aid services for the indigent and vulnerable sections of the society.
