Maryangel worked as the Events and Capacity Building Associate, supporting the Institute’s Capacity Building Initiatives and coordinating events. Prior to joining O’Neill, she worked for the Georgetown Law Development Office for two years, managing international alumni advisory board relations and multiple administrative processes.

Maryangel graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Latin American Studies. She is currently earning her master’s degree in Liberal Studies from the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies. She also volunteers for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on weekends.
