This session of the O’Neill Institute’s Colloquium, “National and Global Health Law” explored the issue of public health and chronic disease. The panelists discussed the underlying causes and associated public health consequences of chronic disease, such as rising health care costs. In the discussion, they also explored prevention, treatment, and regulatory strategies to address the issue. The panelists for this session were Professor M. Gregg Bloche, Professor Angela J. Campbell, and Dean Wendy Collins Perdue. It was moderated by O’Neill Institute Director Lawrence O. Gostin.
