Nishtha Arora is a summer intern at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law.
Prior to joining the O’Neill Institute, she worked as a research assistant at the Society for Democratic Rights, India on the COVID-19 Law Lab collaboration. She assisted the team on gathering and analyzing legal and policy documents from countries, such as Bhutan, Nepal, and Malaysia. She has previously worked on disability rights, reproductive rights, and patient confidentiality and privacy in healthcare. Arora is particularly interested in bioethics and health rights with the objective of advancing innovation in global health policy and politics.
Arora is currently a final year law student at the National Law University Odisha, India, where she is undertaking her integrated Bachelor of Business Administration and Legum Baccalaureus program.
