More than 20 world leaders came together on Tuesday in a joint call for a new global treaty to help the world collectively prepare for future pandemics. The call came in a commentary published in several newspapers around the world. Host Carol Hills speaks with Lawrence Gostin, director of Georgetown University’s O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law, and also an adviser to the WHO.
