On September 27, 2018, the O’Neill Institute for National & Global Health Law and the Global Congress on Intellectual Property & the Public Interest co-hosted the “Big Debate: Does More Intellectual Property Help or Hurt Global Health, Creativity, and Development?” at Georgetown Law.

Featuring Dr. Gaelle Krikorian, Patrick Kilbride, Ruth Okediji, Joseph Damond, with an introduction from Paul Ohm, the “Big Debate” brought together leading thinkers and policy advocates from across the ideological spectrum to ask big questions, including in the context of global negotiations over trade and debates over Trump Administration policies.
