India has been reporting a significant number of COVID cases in the last couple of weeks and is now witnessing a decline since April 21st. The active case count has now come down to 35Lakh and Prime Minister Modi has chaired a COVID review meet on Saturday with the state CM’s and high-level officials, to take stock of the situation. The second wave has also taken a toll on the rural areas, and the rural pockets are now turning into containment zones. Times Now speaks to Professor Lawrence Gostin, to discuss the independent panel which has failed to hold WHO accountable for its COVID-19 responsibility.
