How President Biden Can Expand Global COVID-19 Test-To-Treat

Last month, President Joe Biden proudly announced in his State of the Union address that he had purchased more COVID-19 treatments “than anyone in the world” and that he was launching a domestic COVID-19 test-to-treat program. “People can get tested at a pharmacy, and if they’re positive, receive antiviral pills on the spot at no cost,” he said. New oral antiviral treatments represent a powerful set of tools for fighting the virus.
