Register for this eventJoin the O’Neill Institute as we host Dr. Tlaleng Mofokeng (“Dr. T”), UN Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, for a lunchtime roundtable. Following the presentation of her report to UNGA79, “Dr T” invites you to an intimate roundtable discussion to explore how harm reduction can align with the right to health—and related rights in the context of universal health coverage—with the rights of those in situations of vulnerability from conflict, health emergencies and climate change.
In her report, Mofokeng highlights good practices from organizations and communities in different parts of the world and encourages States to integrate harm reduction as part of universal health coverage plans. She advocates for incorporating comprehensive services that are accessible, affordable, acceptable and of quality.
We invite you to join us to learn from experts in the field, engage in interdisciplinary discussions, and explore innovative solutions. Together, we can make a positive impact on our communities and create a better future for all.
