Richard Wilder is the General Counsel and Director of Business Development at the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI). Previously, he served as Associate General Counsel in the Global Health Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, responsible for providing legal support in a range of projects for the development and delivery of drugs, vaccines and diagnostics in the developing world. Richard has also held positions as Associate General Counsel for Intellectual Property Policy at Microsoft Corporation and Director of the Global Intellectual Property Issues Division of the World Intellectual Property Organization, a specialized agency of the United Nations in Geneva. He has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a J.D. from UNH School of Law.

Richard formerly served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center and continues to be a wonderful mentor to our students and graduates.
