Alexis Ely is a 2022 graduate of the LL.M. in National and Global Health Law program.

Before Georgetown, she worked for Cognizant Technology Solutions and traveled across the United States, working with clients on various health care software systems. Hughes previously worked under Professor Lawrence Gostin as a fall 2021 Global Health Initiative (GHI) student fellow.

Ely holds a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma, where she was a teaching assistant to Dean Katheleen Guzman, Professor Murray Tabb, and Professor Stacey Tovino.
