Ashley Lockett was a 2023 summer intern at the O’Neill Institute. 

Prior to joining the O’Neill Institute, Lockett began her journey into the legal field by interning at the Office of the Attorney General in Washington State. After her internship, Lockett pursued a paralegal certificate at the University of Washington and once completed, worked as a probate paralegal in Seattle. 

Lockett holds a B.S. in psychology and a minor in journalism from Western Washington University. Currently, she is a student at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where she plans to pursue a concentration in health law.
