Bianca Cardona Meléndez is a 2022 graduate of the LL.M. in National and Global Health Law program.
Cardona is interested in food and drug law.
As a law student, Cardona did a clerkship with the Hon. Nelida Malavez-Gonzalez at the Bronx Surrogate Court in New York. During her undergraduate studies, she did internships at the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C., and worked at an nongovernmental organization at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Prior to coming to D.C., she clerked for a law firm in Puerto Rico.
Cardona holds a Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico School of Law and a B.A. in International Relations from Iona College. Currently admitted to the D.C. bar. She is a recipient of the Departmental Medal of International Relations from Iona College and participated in an Advanced Trial Advocacy class at St. Hugh’s College, University of Oxford.
