David Bix is the executive assistant for Michele Goodwin, co-faculty director at the O’Neill Institute. He provides technical and policy support for Professor Goodwin’s research, and helps assist with ongoing projects, events, and greater institute goals.

Prior to joining the Institute, Bix worked as a legal analyst at a boutique litigation law firm in Minneapolis, a research assistant for the political science department at Washington University in St. Louis, and a program director at Herzl Camp in Webster, Wisconsin. In these roles, Bix gained experience conducting legal research, analyzing large data sets, and managing numerous tasks and employees.

Bix received his B.A. in political science and philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis.
