Elizabeth LaPaugh is a 2023 graduate of the LL.M. in National and Global Health Law program. She is originally from the United States.

LaPaugh is interested in healthcare regulatory work, as well as how health policies and laws play a role in health justice and outcomes.

Prior to enrolling at Georgetown Law, LaPaugh has been an associate of Groom Law Group. While in law school, she completed a judicial internship with the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and an externship with the Department of Justice. She also served as a student attorney for the Health Justice Alliance Clinic and was the senior executive editor for the Food and Drug Law Journal.

LaPaugh holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she graduated cum laude, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama, where she graduated summa cum laude.
