Judy Mumbi is a student of the 2024-2025 LL.M. in National and Global Health Law. She is originally from Kenya.

Mumbi is interested in the intersection between health, technology and innovation law, reproductive rights and medical malpractices. She was engaged in research and published her LLB Dissertation on Surrogacy Law during her undergraduate program.

Prior to her enrollment at Georgetown University Law Centre, she was a practicing Advocate with four years of experience in commercial law, corporate law, corporate governance, and intellectual property law. She was also an assistant lecturer at the University of Nairobi, School of Law. She has also served as a company secretary on various boards in Kenya.

Mumbi obtained her LLB from the University of Nairobi School of Law and is a registered company secretary and mediator.
