Julia Winett was a legal intern with the Addiction and Public Policy Initiative at the O’Neill Institute.

Prior to joining O’Neill, Winett served as an Americorps VISTA and completed legal internships for the Network for Public Health Law and Massachusetts State Senator Jo Comerford.

Winett is a third-year law student at Northeastern University School of Law with a particular focus on health policy, harm reduction, and reproductive justice. She received her B.S. in public health with a concentration in health promotion and health policy from Oregon State University.
