Juliet Mamawa Kaikai is a student in the 2025-2026 LL.M. program in National and Global Health Law. She is from Sierra Leone.

Kaikai is interested in sexual and reproductive health and rights, the intersection of women’s health and technology, and global health law.

Before enrolling at Georgetown Law, Kaikai served as a political advocacy consultant at Purposeful, where she led efforts to pass the Safe Motherhood and Reproductive Health Care Bill. She also participated in the Feminist Litigation Network, an initiative of the Initiative for Strategic Litigation in Africa (ISLA). She previously served as the legal manager for AdvocAid, contributing to evidence-based advocacy and strategic litigation to create systemic change. Additionally, she led initiatives to empower the next generation of feminist lawyers through scholarships, internships, mentorship, and a Feminist Law Lecture Series for university students aimed at strengthening Sierra Leone’s legal base.

She holds an LL.B. from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, where she graduated with honors. Kaikai is an African Women Leadership Institute (AWLI) Fellow and an alumna of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP)—Ending Gender-Based Violence, a regional project for Africa.
