Luis Roberto Fernando Cuebas Alberty is a student of the 2025-206 LL.M. in National and Global Health Law. He is from Puerto Rico.

His research explores the intersections of health law, tort liability, and technology, with a focus on artificial intelligence in health care and the responsibility of technology companies in medical malpractice. 

During law school, he gained experience in health care rights litigation and dispute resolution through the Health Law and Mediation Clinics, served as a research assistant, and published an article in Revista de Derecho Puertorriqueño. Beyond academics, he served as the musical director of the Tuna de Derecho de la PUCPR, an authentic Spanish student music ensemble that preserves centuries-old traditions.

He earned a J.D./MBA from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, graduating magna cum laude and summa cum laude.
