Bustamante is a summer legal intern at the O’Neill Institute.

Bustamante is currently an LL.B. student at the University of São Paulo. He is particularly engaged in exploring the intersection between intellectual property rights and access to patented essential medicines, having received multiple awards for papers on the subject. Marcus also represented the Brazilian team in the first-ever intellectual property moot organized by WIPO in Geneva.
