Martha J. Contreras Secchi is a student of the 2023-2024 LL.M. in National and Global Health Law. She is originally from Mexico.

Contreras Secchi is interested in health information, technology and the health, food and drug regulation, government purchases, and bidding process of drugs and medical devices.

Before enrolling at Georgetown Law, Contreras Secchi served as an associate for four years at Galicia Abogados, S.C., where she advised pharmaceutical companies, governments and tech companies on Mexican health law regulation. During law school, she also worked at Basham, Ringe & Correa, S.C.; Uhthoff, Gomez Vega & Uhthoff, S.C.; and Basham, Ringe & Correa, S.C.

Contreras Secchi holds an LL.B. from Universidad Iberoamericana. She also holds a certification in digital technologies from the Mexican Bar Association and a certification in health law from Escuela Libre de Derecho.
