Shabna Hashim is a student of the 2024-2025 LL.M. in National and Global Health Law. She is originally from India.

Hashim in food and drug law, intellectual property, health and human rights, and the advent of new technology and its impact on the health sector.

Prior to enrolling at Georgetown Law, Hashim was senior legal counsel for a semi-government organization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is also a board member of the Association of Corporate Counsel Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

She has significant in-house experience specializing in the real estate, asset management, entertainment, and hospitality sectors in the Indian subcontinent and MENA region. Shabna is a qualified lawyer in India and is enrolled in the Bar Council of India.

Hashim holds a law degree from Calicut University, India, and an LL.M. from UC Berkeley with a specialization in technology and law. She has completed the general management diploma from the Indian Institute of Management–Ahmedabad and the international compliance diploma from the International Compliance Association and Manchester Business School.
