Shannon McDonald is a fellow with the Center for Health Policy and the Law. She has a particular interest in reproductive health and the social and legal barriers to equal healthcare access.

Prior to law school, McDonald worked as a medical malpractice paralegal at a personal injury firm. During her time at Georgetown Law, McDonald worked as a student attorney in the Federal Legislation Clinic, where she helped her client, The Alliance to End Hunger, advocate in support of ending hunger worldwide. She also worked in the Writing Center as a senior writing fellow. In this role, she offered guidance and support to her fellow students as they worked through both legal and academic writing assignments.

McDonald is a recent graduate from Georgetown University Law Center and holds a B.S. from Florida State University in Criminology and Psychology.
