Siddharth Kumar is a student in the 2025 J.D./LL.M. program in National and Global Health Law. He is from the United States.

Kumar is focused on health care litigation and regulation, with particular interests in fraud and abuse, access to health care services, and food and drug law.

During his time as a student at Georgetown Law, Kumar worked with the Health Justice Alliance, where he assisted attorneys working in hospitals in helping cancer patients secure Social Security benefits and address housing-related legal disputes, including evictions and unsafe living conditions. He also supported efforts to expand this model nationwide, advocating in Congress for integrating legal services into health care systems nationwide.

As part of Georgetown’s Federal Legislation Clinic, Kumar worked with clients to advocate in Congress for the protection and expansion of federal food and nutrition programs. In addition, he served as vice president of the Health Law Society, organizing programming to educate students about the diverse and impactful areas of health law.

Kumar holds a J.D. from Georgetown Law and a master’s degree in management from the University of Florida.
