Tayhler Davis is the senior events manager at the O’Neill Institute.

She has more than a decade of experience designing and leading high-impact events across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Prior to joining the O’Neill Institute, Davis managed national conferences and strategic convenings at the National Democratic Institute and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, with a focus on global democracy, public policy, and social equity.

With a strong foundation in experiential marketing, large-scale logistics, and stakeholder engagement, Davis brings a holistic, people-first approach to events that drive collaboration and long-term impact. She has successfully led initiatives across political reform, civic engagement, and global development, with expertise in both in-person and hybrid environments.

Known for her creativity, calm under pressure, and passion for meaningful connection, Davis thrives at the intersection of strategy and storytelling.

Davis holds a Master’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management and a Bachelor’s in Business Marketing from The George Washington University. She is a certified meeting professional (CMP) and a certified digital event strategist (DES) and is an active member of industry organizations, including the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), Meeting Planners International (MPI), and the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals (NCBMP).
