Uttara Jhaveri is a 2023 graduate of the LL.M. in National and Global Health Law program. She is originally from India.

Jhaveri is interested in assisted reproductive technologies, as well as food and drug laws.

Prior to enrolling at Georgetown Law, Jhaveri has interned in several areas of law in India, such as family law, criminal law, corporate law, and health law. She interned at the Chambers of Advocate Mrunalini Deshmukh and at the Chambers of Advocate Amit Desai, where she conducted research, drafted legal documents, visited the High Court of Mumbai, and prepared briefs. In addition, Jhaveri has worked at corporate law firms in India, including AZB and Partners, Trilegal, JSA Law, and Rajani and Associates.

Jhaveri holds a B.A. LL.B. from Symbiosis Law School, Pune. She has also published articles and blogs in Indian law journals and participated in moot court and alternate dispute resolution competitions.
