Sonia L. Butler Canzater ’15 is a practicing attorney and associate director at the O’Neill Institute at Georgetown University, overseeing the Hepatitis Policy Project. Before that, she worked as an adjunct public health instructor at Benedict College, spent several years working for the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control’s Bureau of Maternal and Child Health, and was a youth drug abuse prevention program coordinator for the Lexington-Richland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council. In addition to her J.D. from the School of Law, Canzater holds a Master of Public Health from the University of South Carolina.
