Digital health passes (DHPs) – so-called “vaccine passports” – show proof of vaccination, which increasingly are a condition for entering places where the COVID-19 risks are high, such as workplaces, concerts, sporting events, and cruises. DHPs not only make a return to normal safer, but also give consumers confidence to shop, socialize, and recreate. In other words, DHPs can help save businesses and create employment. DHPs also allow employers to verify the vaccination status of their employees, which is especially important in high-risk settings like nursing homes, medical offices, and hospitals.
