Launch of first ever global study on health and care worker rights and protections, tracking laws in over 180 countries.
The World Health Organization and the Center for Global Health Policy & Politics at the O’Neill Institute will unveil findings from the first global study of the legal environment for health and care workers, with data from over 180 countries and new online tools to advance progress. Join leaders from the United Nations, academia, government, and health worker unions to discuss findings and highlight progress towards implementing the Global Health and Care Worker Compact. The event will highlight key country leadership and explore how governments can better use laws to protect and advance the rights of workers and improve the effectiveness of the health system.
