Please join us for a legal primer and facilitated discussion on state-level initiatives to promote access to affordable medicine. This event, co-sponsored by the Intellectual Property and Information Policy Clinic (iPIP), Universities Allied for Essential Medicines (UAEM), and the O’Neill Institute’s Center for Health Policy and the Law (HPL), will begin with a presentation by HPL on litigation against state legislation on drug pricing, followed by the iPIP x UAEM team’s presentation of the LAB Act, model legislation designed to advance public access to biomedical innovations. The event will conclude with a panel discussion featuring leaders in health policy and law, with a reception to follow.
