Sam Halabi is an O’Neill Institute Scholar as well as an Associate Professor at the University of Missouri School of Law. During the 2017-18 academic year, he served as the Fulbright Canada Research Professor in Health Law, Policy, and Ethics at the University of Ottawa, Ontario. He is the editor (with Larry Gostin and Jeff Crowley) of Global Management of Infectious Disease after Ebola (OUP 2016) as well as Food and Drug Law in an Era of Globalized Markets (Elsevier Academic Press 2015). His work is published in JAMA, the Harvard International Law Journal, the Lancet, the Journal of Law, Medicine, and Ethics, and the Yale Journal of International Law, among others. He is also the co-chair (with Gian Luca Burci) of the Ethical, Legal, and Social Implications Working Group of the Global Virome Project. He holds a JD from Harvard Law School, an MPhil from the University of Oxford (St. Antony’s College) and a B.S., summa cum laude, from Kansas State University.
