Today, Japan will host a landmark COVAX Summit to galvanise support for global vaccine equity in the fight against COVID-19 amid warnings there’ll be no end to the pandemic without equal access to vaccines.
In a joint statement, the World Health Organisation, the World Trade Organisation, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank have appealed for a $50 billion investment to fund vaccine production.
