Federal Officials Clarify Contraceptive Coverage Requirements

On July 28, 2022, the Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), Labor, and the Treasury (“the tri-agencies”) issued an additional round of guidance regarding the coverage, without cost sharing, of the full range of contraceptives under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The guidance was issued in response to an earlier executive order from President Biden and released alongside a press release.
