Center for Transformational Health Law at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law, Georgetown University, PANPREP Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla Centre for Infectious Diseases and Pandemic Preparedness, Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI–IPHS), Asia Centre for Health Security, and DAKSHIN – Global South Centre of Excellence are pleased to invite you to an upcoming webinar: “Balancing Pathogen Sharing, Equity, and Global Health Security: Diverse Perspectives On Pathogen Access and Benefit-Sharing (PABS) System under the Pandemic Agreement.”

The webinar will bring together experts and stakeholders engaged in pandemic preparedness and global health governance to explore diverse perspectives on the evolving Pathogen Access and Benefit-Sharing (PABS) system. The discussion aims to foster dialogue across research, policy, legal, civil society, and industry sectors on pathogen sharing and equitable access to medical countermeasures.

A particular focus will be directed towards perspectives originating from the Global South, especially those from the Asia-Pacific region to evaluate the potential impact of the success or failure of the PABS framework on the future landscape of global pandemic governance and preparedness.Featured Speakers
