This area uses scholarly and legal work on comparative international and domestic human rights legal frameworks to inform litigation, law and policy reform, and regulation related to reproductive health, rights, and justice throughout Latin America. This work includes critically assessing the impacts of criminal law in reproductive health, including the criminalization of reproductive health services, doctor-patient confidentiality, and obstetric violence.
