About

The Global Center for Legal Innovation on Food Environments is a transnational venue for study, research, training, education, and publication in the different aspects of obesity prevention. A forum for cross-country and cross-disciplinary exchanges, the Global Center for Legal Innovations on Food Environments builds a bridge between the creation of innovative ideas and their application to real health problems in specific contexts. The center was launched by the Healthy Families Initiative.

This work is funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies and focuses especially on improving food environments in Barbados, Brazil, Colombia, Jamaica, Mexico, and South Africa.
